DIY Bon Bons | BLOGMAS Day 14

Had a lovely day today with my friend Brooke, from Melbourne, who is staying with me for a few days. We spent all morning chatting and then went shopping to an outlet centre. Afterwards we went for a walk and had dinner. Very excited to be meeting two bloggers tomorrow for a picnic! Keep an eye on this space to see pictures.

So for today's post, I'm showing you how to make your own bon bons. These are lovely to put on the table for Christmas lunch/ dinner and because you are making them yourself, they can be personalised for each person.

You will need:
 Ribbon or twine
Washi tape, wrapping paper or anything to decorate your bon bons
Tissue paper to cut out crown
Jokes/ quotes on pieces of paper
Small items to place inside
White card (I bought mine pre-cut at a craft store)
Brown strips to make the bon bon pop (from a craft store)

Decorate your card with washi tape, wrapping paper or other patterned paper.

You could even theme each bon bon e.g. beauty, fashion, DIY, stationary.

Close the bon bon at one end and then place the crown, quote + products inside the open end. The card I bought already had the diamonds cut out to make the folding a little bit easier, however you can just gather the paper together and tie a ribbon around to hold it in place.
